Not necessarily a great movie for younger kids, but all three of mine thoroughly enjoyed it. Even the 5 year old. We watched it twice... once with the teenager, and then again with the family. Great story and wonderful imagination.

I can honestly say I have never been a huge Tim Burton fan. This movie however was quite impressive. It had a great story line and kept me interested the entire time. May be a little scary for younger children.

I had not seen this movie before purchasing and had no idea what to expect of it. The movie is beautiful in 3d... Probably one of the best I own for 3d experience. It is a bit of a strange tail, but I enjoyed it.

Being a fan of the book by Ransom Riggs, I really enjoyed this movie. Sure, several aspects and some of the plot is changed, but then again this is a translation to film, not a cloning of the book on screen. Highly recommended.

This came with the blu-ray, DVD & digital copy. Package was standard. I liked the movie. It felt aimed for the tween ages, however I enjoyed the mystery and how all the kids were accepted.

This was actually a very good movie. My wife and I watched it together and we both loved it. However, we probably won't let our children watch it until they are tween to early teens due to the violence.

I've read the books. I enjoyed them very much. I didn't make it to the theatre to see this movie. I wanted to get this movie as soon as it came out. I enjoyed the movie very much. I can't wait for the rest of them to come out.

If you like Tim Burton movies, you'll love this one! It has the quirky characters that one expects from him. But the great thing is, even if you only so-so like his movies, this one is a good one for the moderate fan as well.

The follows a band of odd powered people. They have duty of keeping the world safe.. The story has various character and quite relatable to various human situation. I felt my emotions for leading character. Very good movie.

This may not have been what I expected, but was a very very good movie. We actually ended up watching it 3-4 times in the first week. It is one of those movies that you pick up something new each time you watch it.

I personally like this movie but it is not for everyone. Too hard to follow for young children and too complicated for the elderly. It is a movie that I would watch over again. Nice addition to my collection.

This is a fun little Tim Burton kid's movie. The kids did a good job. The story was not dumbed down, though that especially complex. Burton again creates a convincing world filled with fantastical characters.

not all my kids enjoyed this movie, but I liked it. Overall the story is good and I think it's great for kids who are a little older and not as into cartoon movies anymore. Looks nice on Blu-Ray

This movie exceeded our expectations. It has good character depth and plots lines/twists. As soon as it was over, my husband and I looked at each other and said "we're going to have to watch that one again".

Very cool movie with lots of twists for the Magic school film genre. Eva Green is spectacular as always and the cast fit perfectly for this very fun and full of adventure film with some pretty scary looking monsters.

I expected it to be different, and it didn't disappoint. I had never seen a Tim Burton film that I recall. He shows a lot of imagination in each of the characters peculiarity. It was strangely entertaining.

Not exactly Mary Poppins (my generation) but the kids (and I) love this movie. This is a great family movie that must be watched more than once because you will definitely miss something plus it's fun to watch.

For some reason, this Blu Ray movie was only $10 at Best Buy. Takes me back to days of old. Thanks Best Buy for occasionally giving us a great deal! Movie is enjoyable. May be a little scary/intense for younger children.

The entire family really liked this movie, right up our alley. A couple of the bad guys did frighten my little ones a bit, although it couldn't have been that bad as they asked to watch it again the next day! Recommended
