The plot was slow and the movie not very entertaining. I like the actors but it was just not all that could have been. The kids did not finish watching it.

Typical Tim Burton movie - visually stunning but lacking in story. Characters felt one dimensional. Saving grace for this release is the blu ray extras.

I thought this one was going to be a little more lighthearted, but turned out to be a bit dark. Not bad, but I wouldn't watch again.

This movie was a little peculiar it could have gone into more detail which would have made it more interesting, all in all not that bad of a movie.

My kids did not enjoy this one, in fact, I was asked to turn it off. I thought it was kind of imaginative, but the some of the creatures were scary.

This was not one I would rush out to get but a family member really wanted it for Christmas. It was entertaining enough but once was enough for me.

Generally, I applaud creativity. In this day and age of the big movie franchises wherein each movie is a slight modification of the preceding, this movie dares to develop a unique cast of characters. However, for all of the movie's effort to weave a great new epic, the overall story seems to take on the tone of one's recurring nightmares instead. Peculiarities, as it were, abound without necessarily lending any enhancement to the movie experience.

This movie was a little on the boring side. Most of the time I was confused as to what was going on. Even my wife was not impressed with it.

I've never read the books in which this movie is based, however I'm sure they are a lot more interesting to read than this movie was overall.

I am honestly not sure I would watch it again. It was ok the first time, but it was just too.... out there for me. I was expecting more.

As always get visually for a Tim Burton film, but was not captivated by it. Might try again, but not with kids it's too creepy for them.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children was quirky. The story came together at the end, but was different from what was expected.

Disappointing that they tried to put 3 books into one movie and changed some of the story line. Could have been a great movie series

I've been told this was a good book. (The first of several). I bought this on the strength of Miss Peregrine. I wasn't disappointed.

HDR will be why this is a 4k purchase. I don't really see a reason to buy in 4k unless love the movie but it's decent.

This was a strange movie but the kids liked it. I think it was just OK and glad I waited for DVD versus movie theater for this one.
