Really not a child's film with all of the dark under tones. Some of the acting and plot was bland at times but I did enjoy the film

Some of us liked it, some of us didn't. It was creative and visually beautiful, but I must admit ... I fell asleep a couple times.

I haven't read any of the books but enjoyed the film. You may want to rent it first before deciding to add to your collection....

What if Tim Burton directed the X-Men? Turns out it won't be very engaging. There is almost zero character development in this film, except for the villains. The kids have bizarre quirks involving mutations and that is about as far as they get with these kids. Visually interesting, but that's about it. It's like a really pretty cake that once you bite into you realize is nothing but icing on a styrofoam shape.

Purchased for my seventeen year old daughter. She enjoyed the movie. It was a bit darker than I expected, but not bad overall.

This movie is a ok movie at best. I like it because it seems to have potential and hope that they continue the series.

This is an interesting story but definitely not for children. It has an unusual death and characters that can be terrifying.

Graphics very good some can be disturbing for very young children. Storyline at times hard to follow. Still a good movie.

A fun movie that starts slow then picks up steam. Definitely NOT for younger children as the fright scenes are gruesome.

AT FIRST VIEWING IT STARTED OUT GOOD THEN IT JUST GOT SLOW AND LOST MY KIDS INTEREST. IT WAS A LITTLE ON THE LONG SIDE.

Miss Peregrines kids similar to Professor X's students...Heroes and villains. Good movie overall. Check it out.

Movie had a decent twist at the end, story dragged in certain spots of the movie but special effects were worth it

Meh. Not great, not horrible. OK if you need to waste some time. Some freaky parts that 8.5 year old didn't like.

The special effects were pretty good. The story line was a little different from Harry Potter. On sale worth it.

I really wanted to love this movie. But Tim Burton of course had to change the ending. Which ruined it for me.

Kind of scary for the kids. Mix of Potter and X Men. Could have been better.
