I have not seen the movie, but Tim Burton is one of my son-in-laws favorites. I bought it for him to watch with my twin granddaughters. Creating special daddy/daughter time.

I saw this movie in theatres and it was awesome!! I'm usually not into the "peculiar" type movies. But this is a new favorite! I knew as soon as it came out on BR/DVD, I had to buy it!

Kind of a strange film, but I had fun watching it. It was in the same category of MS McPhee. So if you liked that...

Loved the movie in theatres and wanted to enjoy it a second time to discover what I missed the first time. Extra features were interesting, especially the background on the peculiars.

I really enjoyed this film. A nice mix of family film, fantasy, horror, time travel, and mystery. It's rare a 2-hour movie doesn't drag and this one keeps moving nicely.

Very imaginative! It takes you to another world within this world and will make you think twice when strange things happen.

I didn't know too much about this movie but turned out to be a great buy! Mysterious and a little dark but still a great movie for all ages to include little kids. My family loved it!

Standard disk set. 3D is done well. Movie is much in the vein of Harry Potter like stories. A bit too much time travel and gets confusing in the end. But still very fun.

It is definitely an odd movie. We did enjoy watching it and following some of the story lines.We'll be watching it again, because I'm sure we missed some of the nuances.

Great entertainment! 8year old granddaughter was a little scared of the eyeless characters at first but we explained and talked her through it. She ended up enjoying this movie too.

It's the new age Adams family for our generation of kids. My 11 and 6 yr olds loved it. It teaches them about love and living in an orphanage and values of caring for one another

There's a few loose ends in this but overall it's a nice flick. Cute effects and nice characters. Very enjoyable. We bought the 3d version and it had some nice effects.

It was a great movie to watch with the kids it had excitement action and it kept us all entertained for quite some time we have watch this movie multiple times and it still good

Saw this when released in the theaters and couldn't wait for the 4K to be available. Story is a bit strange, but as are most Tim Burton films. Great for a Saturday afternoon escape.

I found this movie to be interesting and also great. I very much enjoyed it considering before I had bought it I did not know much about it besides seeing the trailer.

I would say that I didn't know what to expected, the information given made me want to watch. I would recommend it to other, as I will more than likely watch it again.

My wife dragged me to see this in the theaters. I was surprised when I really liked it! As a sci-fi/fantasy fan, it was great. We bought it so we could watch it whenever we wanted.

I hadn't read the books but the movie looked interestingly fun. I was not disappointed. No 5 stars bc my son told me of some of the parts left out from book to movie.

Got a great deal on the movie in the store...The store matched the lower price available on Amazon too! My kids loved watching this movie, and I loved the great picture quality.

Didnt really know what to expect but had a good time watching it. The 4k transfer is ok, nothing breathe taking but the movie definitely makes it one of the best 4k blu rays.
