Great story, well translated to the movie screen. the characters are brought to life quite well. I enjoyed it from start to finish (and an appropriate finish it was).

I haven't read the book but I though the story and visuals were very good. I would not recommend for younger children as it might be a little scary for them.

I really liked this movie. I had no expectations going in, and I was pleasantly surprised. The story is very good, great for kids, young adults and full grown adults all around.

A movie about a Grandfather & son, his bedtime story, & reality. Very entertaining, a type of Alice in Wonderland Story. Enjoyed the action, & romance side of story!

The family and I really enjoyed this movie. We seen it first at the movies thinking it wasn't really going to be good. Much to our surprise we happened to all love it.

Tim Burton's movies for me are hit or miss. but this one I think is an overwhelming success. such an amazing amount of creativity was put into this one. love it.

This is one of those family movies that has a little something for everyone. Time Travel, Special powers, descent story line, and a lot of fun along the way.

Great filming , acting and directing. A little bit scary for young audience. Watch it in 3D at home . Still amazed by Tim Burton's vision of things and imagination.

Ive never seen it before i bought it. I heard great reviews and i have to say we have watched it more the 5 times since we got it home. My daughyer is 9 yra old and she loves it.

Well written and played. I love a fantasy movie every now and then and this is one of the best. It puts you in that world where you say I wish I were there....Excellent movie....

I love Tim Burton movies, and this movie, though childish on the surface, proves no exception. Adult themes and great effects.

After seeing the previews for this movie, I had hoped to be blown away. After watching it, I was left wit a feeling that more could have been done with this movie.

This movie and it's director are so connected, it is if they were linked at the genetic level. It's an fantasyful story told with so many connecting layers. Totally enjoyable!!!

Great movie, kids love it. Watched it over and over. I watched it and it wasn't too bad at all. Since the kids love it, I consider it a "best buy"... pun intended.

Rented this movie about a week before I bought it. Best Buy had the best offer and a good price as well Blue-Ray and DVD and other places only had it on DVD for the same price.

My wife and granddaughter enjoyed this much more than I did. I must have lost interest in the beginning, but finally caught on and to my surprise it was very good.

Love this movie! Saw it in the theater & couldn't wait for it to come out on video. I bought it the week it was released & we have watched it multiple times. Great for all ages.

The purchase of the following movie was needed. It's a classic. I would definitely recommend it for any movie buff. A must buy for any flick collector. Family friendly!

Worth purchasing in the fantasy category, good ending should be able to watch a couple of times, expected a little more from Burton have always enjoyed his movies
