never read the book, so this was completely fun to watch not expecting anythin really. the orphaned kids living the way they do is a neat concept

Love the books and had fears about the movie. The movie was much better than I expected. Enjoyable movie even though it is a mashup of the books.

If you enjoy Tim Burton's films, this won't disappoint. These characters seem like they were made for him. Good movie for all age groups.

Interesting movie. I have not read the books so I'm not certain if it follows along with the book or not. Not recommended for younger children.

I bought this because it seemed interesting, and it was in 3d, it was much better then expected and the 3d effects were worth the extra money.

The movie itself was really good. I enjoyed the characters and the story. It looked really good in 4K - almost like the characters are in the room with you!

It's an okay children/family movie. It's was a little difficult for my 5 year old to follow and my 11 year old lost interest half way through.

I think this movie went really well! It has a good group of actors involved in this film and a very good storyline!! Definitely worth checking out I'd say!

As a Ransom Riggs fan I was so excited about the movie coming out. There were multiple parts in the trilogy that I was hooked and drawn in solely on specific character interaction such as Emma and Jacob. Unfortunately the creative direction of Tim Burton disappointed when he rushed the whole thing into 2 hours of lack of anything appealing. Characters were switched, plot was different and nothing at all sucked me in. Go buy the book instead.

This turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I really liked the movie and the story line was also good. Eva Green has performed very well.

Had seen the book in store but didn't think it would be a good read. Now, want to read. This film is well done. Holds your interest. Nice fantasy film.

Another twisted tale from one of my favorite directors..the charachters make it work..great escapism..maybe a little scary for small children

This is a great movie a very typical Tim Burton film,very well thought out.Longer movie but the cast do the storyline justice.Special effects are awesome.

If you like to watch unusually different movies, this is one for you. And if you you are a fan of Eva Green, you will enjoy her performance. Enjoy!

This was a good family movie. There was a good story line with good amount of twists. It was not too scary for younger members of the family.

Enjoyed the movie and it has quickly become a favorite. I read the book and was quite surprised at the magical place created with such beautiful scenery.

A visual treat with some almost too-weird action sequences that will likely appeal to younger audiences more than to their parents.

Haven't yet watched the movie. Simply bought bc of pricing. 10 bucks for 3D!!! Story is cool from book. Hoping it visually is as good.

Totally enjoyed the story as well as the portal of all the children especially the younger ones who gave excellent performances being so young.
