This movie is a typical Tim Burton movie: it's fun and sweet and it is a bit twisted but mostly beautiful and magical. I loved it!

Tim Burton rocks another one! Usually can't go wrong with Tim Burton and this film is no exception. Hope to see more in this series.

I got this movie after watching the previews on youtube, and it was a fantastic fantasy film for the family, I highly recommend it!

Did not read the book but I did enjoy the film with my daughter it didn't require a lot of explaining from her - she read the book.

Although there were things left to shown that book also includes, the movie does a great job illustratinf this wonderful story
