A good movie for the family. Some of the characters may be a bit intense for younger children.

We bought this movie for our daughter who read the book and absolutely fell in love with it. It was a good movie, overall. There were some parts that weren't explained and didn't seem to follow their story line that it seemed was more for adding extra special effects. And, my daughter was disappointed with some of the changes and omissions they made.

We liked the movie. It was a little different but we were kept interested during the whole movie.

Seems slow and dull in the beginning, but pace picked up and the ending was great.
