I purchased this title for the Steelbook packaging as advertised on the BB web site. It is NOT the steelbook, but the older Metal-Pak packaging. Be wary if you only want the steelbook.

Easily the best of the trilogy, you will feel somewhat cheated when watching the sequels. However the third movie captures some of the magic of the first. This is one of the best spy genre thrillers. The story is great, and the movie is well paced. Great action, that doesn't feel thrown in, but is carried by the story. The computer room break in is intense, and the heliicopter scene at the end was a special effects extravaganza back in it's opening release.

This movie is actually a fairly decent spy movie compared to its later sequels. With from dark allies to CIA headquarters, quiet paranoia to helicopter explosions, this movie has something for everyone while maintaining originality. Its not an amazing movie, but its pretty solid and deserves a spot in all but the most discerning collections.

I was shocked that this film made as much money as it did and then went on to spawn a couple of equally succesful sequels. I wasn't all that impressed with the film, though it does have some well done sequences. Recommended to fans only. Widescreen with ample bonus material.

Purchased this to complete our M.I. collection on Bluray. Couldn't find it locally, but I knew Best Buy would have it at a decent price. This first movie in the series was okay. It's worth owning if you have the others.

This movie was a huge hit but I didn't find it that good. It has a few good scenes but it's not a movie that I want to watch a lot.
