Improbable But Not Impossible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Going into the theater, I wasn't expecting much. Ghost Protocol was pretty decent but given the track record of the series being as inconsistent as it is, I set the bar low. Walking out I realized just how unwarranted those fears were. The big one here is the stunt work. Say what you will about Tom Cruise but nobody can argue about his commitment to his craft. The stunt work in this film is second to none, with Cruise doing a lot more than most to the point I was shocked the studio allowed it. The story is standard for this genre, with some solid twists to keep things interesting. Simon Pegg has a lot to do here and has fun doing it. It is nice to see a little more consistency with the supporting cast, with even Luther returning. Jeremy Renner unfortunately takes a step back in terms of screen time. I hope more was at least initially intended for him and that he'll have a chance to shine more in future installments. The ultimate villian is a bit underwhelming given the build up. Still, he gets the job done and manages to stay threatening. If you've stayed away from the series for a while it's time to come back.

You'll Love Going "Rogue" in Latest "Mission" Film
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For nearly 20 years, Tom Cruise has delivered some of the biggest thrills in movies in his "Mission: Impossible" franchise, and the latest entry, "Rogue Nation," is no exception. Picking up shortly from the previous (and very good) film, "Ghost Protocol," Cruise's Ethan Hunt must stop a secret organization named the Syndicate, and on his own after the CIA shuts down his IMF and declares him a wanted man. Fortunately for him his old team (Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, and Jeremy Renner) are still willing to help him, and he crosses paths with a beautiful-and deadly-agent, played by Rebecca Ferguson, with her own agenda. The stunts are all top-rate (the sequence of Cruise hanging off the side of a giant airplane while flying is just in the first five minutes!) and Ferguson nearly steals the show from Cruise. The best entry since the first Mission. The Blu-ray provides very sharp picture and sound, and extras include a commentary with Cruise and director Christopher McQuarrie and some solid BTS entries. Well worth it, especially if you can get the Best Buy exclusive Steelbook.

Well Worth Watching
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not a Tom Cruise fan but I love Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg and they do not disappoint in this movie. I usually watch the MI movies when they are released on video but I have willingly spent my money on seeing the last two on the big screen and did not regret a single action packed minute.

Awesome, fun, spy movie
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second favorite Mission Impossible, after Ghost Protocol. It has a great opening sequence, every bit as good as a James Bond opening. The Blu-ray audio has demo quality, with Atmos surround. I don't have an Atmos surround set up but did enjoy wonderful sound with my Pioneer Elite VSX-90, especially in that opening sequence. The Digital Copy also came in handy. I'm not sure if I'll use the DVD, but it can't hurt to have it. If you're a fan of this franchise you won't be disappointed in your purchase.

They get better and better!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went into Rogue Nation with High Hopes and wondering if Cruise and company could out-do Ghost Protocol... They DID. This is High-Octane Non-Stop Fun. I saw it in the theater twice and now have a Swell Best-Boy Exclusive Steelbook. (I collect Steelbooks). This was a good purchase at a bargain price for a film I would have paid $30 for. Thanks to Best-Buy for offering a collector's item at low price so all could afford them. The 5 Film M-I Steelbook is a great value also

ONE WEIRD SCENE HURT GREAT FILM
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best "Mission Impossible" since first one, though I couldn't figure out weird half-undressed fight scene. Tom Cruise fights bad guys half-undressed, and lead girl takes off some clothes to fight bad guys, too. Great film that demanded to be watched over and over, but why the WEIRD half-undressed fight scene? It hurt movie a little.

Mission Impossible at its finest
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoyed the nonstop action and the feeling of what is gonna happen next. It almost felt like a homecoming for the franchise. Elements form Mission1 were through out the film. I also needed out and listened to the commentary, witch was wonderful insight to the film story and plot lines. I could watch it again and again.

These MI movies keep getting better!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's almost an impossible mission to keep a movie series fresh, and topping previous entries in the series is a daunting task. Somehow, Mission Impossible keeps doing it. I learned that Cruise wants a different director each time, which may have something to do with it. Whatever the reason, this is one you want!

Best Spy Movie of 2015!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Forget Spectre, forget UNCLE, Rogue Nation by far was the best spy film of 2015. Great action and stunts that will keep you at the edge of your seat. Tom Cruise does it again bringing great action with great characters. Furthermore, the steelbook package will be a great addition to your collection of blurays.

Great Movie
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was an exciting movie to watch again and again. It may seem familiar in movie formula but that does not bring down its quality at all. I hope they continue to make them for as long as possible and keep up with the humor of the more recent Mission Impossibles.

Another good Mission Impossible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've seen this movie once and I couldn't wait to get it and watch it again. It isn't the best MI movie, but it's definitely one of the better ones. If you haven't watched it, it's definitely worth the buy and Best Buy had it at a good price.

Great Movie
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's another great entry in the series. Amazing stunts. Though they kind of blue their wad by having the biggest stunt in the beginning and out of context. Would have loved to have seen it play out. Steel book case is nice but unneeded.

Excellent Movie. Excellent Blu-ray
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best entries in the Mission: Impossible franchise. May even edge out Ghost Protocol. Fluid and tense action, excellent humor. The steelbook is gorgeous. Clear colors and a nice gloss finish.

Great Movie
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Another great Mission Impossible movie to add to the books. Cruise is proving he isn't losing any steps when it comes to being a lead in an action movie. Proof: He was hanging off of a plane.

Great movie
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Some of the earlier sequels didn't quite live up to the first one, but getting back on track with Ghost Protocol, this one manages to one-up it. Great stunts and action as always.
