The colors of the Blue Ray DVD do not compare to my old movie. Outrageous and lots of fun.

Bought this because my grand kids like movies with singing and we all have been singing.

My daughter watches this movie when we go on road trips. Its really good. Good Stuff!

Great movie with the The Rock. It is a touching story that is a feel good for all.

Most animated films, especially Disney films, get dismissed as not being essential to own in 4K. This stigma exists because most animated features are not rendered in full 4K, so it's not considered a true 4K experience. While I'm not sure if that's also the case for Moana, you wouldn't know it while watching the film. The amount of detail on display is incredible and rendered clearly. The colors also get an excellent boost from the HDR, making some elements more vibrant and overall disbursement of color more natural looking. As far as animated films go, this is one of the best looking on the format.

The steelbook looks gorgeous. The movie is good, not a big deal but it is good.

I saw "Moana" in theaters and then once again while taking an airplane trip so I knew what to expect from the movie itself. But I didn't really appreciate the story since I didn't understand the time frame when this story took place and the real challenges of Polynesian people as they explored islands. The movie makes a definite point to describe people exploring islands and then not exploring for about a 1000 years, but I didn't understand that this was real. The featurette in the extras really helped me understand the people of South Pacific islands and how their ancestors discovered islands. I therefore think the extras are a huge bonus and makes it worth the purchase! I decided to get the 3D version because animated movies always seem to take advantage of 3D more than live action movies and I was not wrong. It's pretty awesome when the water (as a character) flows up above the surface. Also when Moana uses her oar to point to something, the oar almost knocked the popcorn out of my hands. Loved it.
