What a good year for mainstream animation. Moana is right up there with the best of the year. It definitely has the best music, the best songs from Disney in awhile (and better than the overrated Frozen music). Good story, if not the most rich in depth (Zootopia and Kubo surpass it). I hope Disney hires Lin-Manuel Miranda to be involved with all of their animated movies for at least the next ten years. Auli'i Cravalho has a great voice for the character, and she breathes some real life into the character of Moana, one of Disney's best of late as well. The rest of the voice cast is great as well, it just feels like there were high levels of talent working on this movie all around. It's also great to see Ron Clements and John Musker return to their former levels during the Disney Renaissance (although Treasure Planet and Princess and the Frog are generally underrated). A great sign for the future direction of Disney animation.

I had wanted to see this in the theater but never got a chance to. As soon as it was released on DVD, I ran out to buy it because I trust that no Disney movie will disappoint! I'm so glad I did because Disney has done it again! Moana is a touching tale about a girl who finds her inner strength to overcome many obstacles. There is no prince in this movie but instead focuses on Moana and her love for her family, friends, and her island.

I purchased this movie for my 3 yr old niece she loves this movie.

My daughter loves this movie and sings along with all the songs.

I recently purchased and watched this movie while taking care of my youngest niece. The only thing I knew about it was that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson starred in it. I came away very impressed. The story line was very interesting and kept my attention until the end. And seeing it in 3D only enhanced it with all the color and clarity that popped out of the screen. It is a must have for all, especially those with a Disney collection.

This animated movie has all the qualities of a classic Disney film: a great adventure-filled story, interesting and lovable characters, and catchy tunes that you'll be humming for days after watching this modern work of art. The look of the film is eye-candy. The vibrant colors and detail in every scene make repeated viewings a pleasure for kids and adults alike. In short, add Moana to your Disney collection - you'll love it.

Fantastic tale and a welcome step away from the princess rescue theme that's been a Disney staple. In fact, there is no love story, instead focusing on a young woman coming into her own, stepping out into the world. Beautifully animated with plenty of fun, delightful characters. Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson's song is surprisingly catchy and one of several outstanding musical numbers. Definitely a treat for both kids and adults.

Ordered this movie online for curbside pickup. Price was excellent compared to competitors. Curbside pickup was easy and safe during this time of COVID. Wonderful movie, excellent addition to our Disney collection. My son's favorite! This movie reminds me of older Disney classics. Great soundtrack and entertaining characters!!

Extremely limited supply for this 3D steelbook collector's edition! So glad I got one (only display copy in entire store) on my lunch break during work. Heard so many others had chips/dents in theirs but mine was flawless. A blind buy but very worth it! Sold out and OOP everywhere too! I feel good about this purchase. As for the actual steelbook the artwork is great and goes well with my other steelbooks and Disney Collection.

Fantastic movie any way you want to measure it. Great story, great songs (You're Welcome will stick in your head) and beautiful visuals. Hair and water are notoriously difficult to animate, but they are essentially characters in this film. Watch the special features and see all the authenticity they added in to enhance the story. It's full of heart and humor. You can't go wrong here, I just wish I had seen it in the theater.

Great Disney movie!! I love that the main character is female and has absolutely NO love interest!! She is straight forward HEROINE. But one cannot watch Moana and not adore Maui. Great casting and awesome music. You will be humming the songs for days....you're welcome..... ;-) Visuals are stunning and the story telling is brilliant, but do not think you are watching a story about the Hawaiian Islands, because you aren't...

Moana is a a definite MUST BUY! Not only is the soundtrack for the movie magnificent but the movie itself is extremely entertaining and great to watch. We originally saw it in theaters with our 4 year old and knew we had to have it as soon as it was released. Since it's been in our home it's been on constant replay and my kiddos can't seem to get enough of it. Disney has done it again, created another wonderfully classic.

This is a great movie for children to watch with a great story line.

The steel book is a good looking case but the flaw is its held together by thin plastic. I don’t regret the purchase because this movie at the price I paid, and the fact that its a combo pack is why I bought it. If you will be opening and closing the case over because its a favorite in your household just be aware that the case might not hold up.

This movie is awesome! As an adult, it's a really good, solid story. The kiddos loved it. And, unlike Frozen, I can listen to the soundtrack all day no problem. Now, this movie was on netflix for a while, but trust me, you want the bluray copy - the audio alone is worlds better in quality, not to mention the visuals are fantastically better. 3d version is pretty good too - We've watched both versions several times.

I would definitely watch this with the whole family. I recommend.

I really enjoy how much Disney branched out after the Grimm and Anderson fairy tales were exhausted. They've found and created relatable stories from around the globe. The animation of Moana is so beautiful. Very inspired and inspiring. My kids and I absolutely fell in love with Jermaine Clement's "Shiny" song! We sing it much more than I should admit!

In a way only Disney can, they have created another instant Disney classic with Moana. A fun and engaging story combined with a catchy and witty soundtrack lead by some all star voice over work make for the best animated movie experience of 2016. Also the exclusive steel book offered by Best Buy offers some great artwork. A must have!

There are so many great things about this movie and it's 4K release shines. The digital Dolby Vision version included in a Movies Anywhere code is astounding as well. Moana and Maui are such great characters and they play so well off of each other. My son adores this movie and I like it a lot as well. I highly recommend this release to anyone.
