Purchased this on a whim. I really didn't know much about the movie beforehand, but assumed it would be good because of Disney. I was not let down. The music in the film really sets it apart from other Pixar type films and the story told was fun to watch. I laughed out loud several times. If you like other Disney musical films, chances are you'll enjoy this too.

Gorgeous animation, memorable characters and beautiful songs make this an absolutely perfect addition to any blu-ray collection. The picture quality is absolutely flawless, and the 3D adds a great deal of character detail and depth of the incredible vistas and underwater majesty. Love the wonderful artwork on the steelbook - this is a treasure not to be missed.

An engaging story, with plenty of humor for both kids and parents. Loved Dwayne Johnson's portrayal of Muaui and particularly the incorporation of his trademark flexing of his pectorals. The portrayal of Pacific Islanders and some of their cultural heritage is refreshing. The young ladies who voiced Moana and sang for her are both impressive performers. Would have liked more special features to explain some of the cultural references and perhaps talk about the actual legends. Could have also done a feature on catamarans and how they're built and still used today. Would also have been fun to see some clips of the actual filming and recording the voices, as I'm guessing there was probably a fair amount of silliness and amusing flubs.

We went in blind with this one not reading any reviews but Disney does not disappoint. The storyline is compelling, there's a lot of humor added, the songs were great, and they spent a lot of time to make the visuals realistic. We also enjoyed the bonus materials that were included like the Easter Egg which made my kids wanted to see it again right afterwards.

As someone who has seen this movie hundreds of times, I believe myself to be somewhat of an authority on it. Do you have small children? Do they scream at you night and day? Do you dream for 90 minutes of peace and quiet so you can regain a small fraction of your sanity? If your kids are anything like mine, this movie will do the trick. Recommended.

I hadn't seen this yet but the wife wanted it so I purchased it on a whim hoping I'd like it. I actually did! It was a fun movie to watch and look forward to seeing it again. I haven't watched it in 3D yet. But I always buy the Steelbook when it's available for the movie I want and the Steelbook was the 3D version. Good thing I have a TV for such a format.

Following Moana growth from an infant to a young lady. Her passion was always the sea. Her father, the chief of the tribe, won't let anyone sail beyond the reef. Moana's passion wins out and sets sail to the open waters so she can save her people's island from disaster. To do this, she needs the help of Maui, an island God. Really good songs.

Moana is a great story of perseverance and strength. Personally, I love the empowering message it had for my daughter who is 10. She absolutely LOVES the soundtrack and the story is great for children and adults alike. You'd expect nothing less given Disney, but this was spectacular. The visuals contained in the scenes on the water are stunning as well.

One of Disney's best animated features. Moana provides a role model for children of all ages - putting family and future ahead of all else. Songs and soundtrack are enchanting ! Note: This is my 3rd purchase of this video as I give the other copies to my kids to watch with my grandchildren !!!

Quite honestly one of the most beautifully animated Disney films I may have ever seen, you owe it to yourself to make this a part of your collection. I still feel it didn't get the full credit it rightfully deserved, such a magnificent story to watch unfold. This will truly go down as one of Disney's best masterpieces. DuaneThe Rock Johnson is still the most electrifying man in both sports and movie entertainment as he continues to deliver what the People want to see.Pick up this movie as soon as possible with no regrets guaranteed!

Disney has done it again with Moana! It’s great film. Smart, touching and just a treat to watch even AFTER seeing the film in theaters! The music and songs are fantastic. The animation is so incredibly well done — realistic but still maintaining the spirit of the animated genre. And the characters are both engaging and memorable. Highly recommended!

Great, loved the movie my granddaughter wanted it couldn't find it anywhere else so went to Best Buy. They always have what I'm looking for and at a great price. Customer service was ready to help with friendly service. Love going to Best Buy to browse and find what the weekly deals are. I would recommend the movie and the store for great deals.

Disney seems to change the inserts every year now. Normally they have a rapid rewards insert and the digital code separate. Now you must use your digital code when logged into your rapid rewards account. If you have already followed the poor instructions inside the case the you enter the same code when logged into your rapid rewards account. Disney, if you are reading this, make the instructions clear. The rapid rewards are totally with it. I have gotten 4 movies free through the through the program. But your instructions tell people to claim the movie with no mention of the rewards program anymore. The price for the physical copy was also only $3 more then the digital version so it's still relevant to buy the physical copy.

We love this movie and watch it often. Great music and fun for the whole family. All of our foster kids have requested this movie to be played over and over. Even our now 3 year old toddler has been requesting since the moment be watched it at 24 months. It never gets old

Wasn't sure what to expect from this one, not seeing it in theaters. I was pleasantly surprised on how good and well it turned out. I was expecting The Rock to be a little too Over the Top and ruin it. But that wasn't the case at all. Even the backstory on the extra's was interesting on where they came up with such a historic concept. Very nice !

This movie truly truly surprised me I wasn't expecting this movie to even being at all as cool or awesome as it was it's just so much better than what I was expecting. One of the coolest kids movie cgi films I've ever seen. Believe me I have a lot of kids movies and this is up there with up the lorax and all the other great ones that you love!

This was a great Christmas present for my wife! It's one of her favorite movies, so I got some husband points for this one. Really a fun movie and great price! (Black Friday)

I believe that Moana is as much of a landmark as The Little Mermaid or The Lion King, and it is because it taps into the collective conscience of our time. I would recommend this movie to anybody who has seen it before, and I would highly recommend to watch it at least twice (thus the BluRay) to get all the nuances and wonderful detail it has.
