When I bought my new I-phone, I was unable to transfer my data using my I-cloud because I didn't have enough i-cloud data on my old phone. I think $40 is extremely overpriced considering I actually ended up completing most of the process myself because the store had trouble finding my salesperson who set it up but then wandered off, presumably to help another shopper or take a break. They eventually found another salesperson who came over to follow up with me, but by then I had already completed most of the process. At the very end, the original salesperson finally came over to complete the transaction. The transfer process, itself, was fine, but like I said, definitely overpriced for what was involved, especially since I completed most of the process.

When my dad's phone died, we took it to the Verizon store across the parking lot and got lots of run around before they tried to sell us a replacement for over$800. A few months ago, we purchased unlocked phones from Best Buy for $300, so we walked over to the store and bought the same model for my dad. The Best Buy staff were super helpful and had the SIM card and all data transferred from the broken phone to the new one in under 20 minutes! Next time I have a phone issue, we are going to Best Buy first!

This was easy and painless and they did it in a minute it was nice to sit back and relax with the geek protection it covered it all

I am so grateful that Best Buy offers this service. I have transferred data myself before and have always worried that I would do something wrong but knowing that there were people who knew what they were doing and did it for me made me feel relieved.

Brought My Old phone in got a New one had My information from Old phone down load to New phone in 45 mintues and was on My way. Very helpful & knowlegeable people.

The Geeksquad at my local store does a great job. They were good to my wife and son and managed to put up with me, too. I loved the service, and they managed to get all of my wife's files and apps onto her new phone. And she lives on that phone, so moving everything over is essential for her work. It took a little while, and they sold me a few diet cokes in the process. They were some of the most excellent folks out there. It was worth the money. I know I could do it at home, but they knew what to do right now, and it did not take too long. I will do it again!
