The purchase of the mobile data transfer, was a huge waste of money. The seller failed to inform us before the purchase of the amount of time it would take (45minutes minimum). And the seller lied and stated that this service would be able to copy everything from Samsung to the new Samsung device ( which I was descriptive on what everything included & the seller pander YES to quickness, lead us to believe that they were actually the one's handing & that it was speedy service. Then after purchase took us to another service floor clerk who was then Identified to us as Samsung representative and told they would do this purchased activity. Once accepting the task and attempting to begin it, that rep then begin downplaying the services promised & even said they didn't have the cable necessary to complete the tasks and that it would take (45 minutes or more to at the least; which after being in the store for up to possibly 45 minutes or more just to pick & purchase the device has worn on us [my companion and I]. We lost interest at this time and requested a refund but was told that they could not refund a service/ which I was confused because nothing had actually taken place, besides a bunch of disinformation and lack of proper equipment to achieve the work. But then We were told that the task would be started and completed in the Geek squad area. After going back and forth over the service & time frame not being something we were any longer interested in - we gave in and decided to wait (or actually leave & come back). Was a waste of time, the mis information totally diminished my trust as a customer in Best Buys floor sales team and services. Was a pain, waste of time/money and stressful. Later It dawned on me we should have requested a manager or supervisor, but in today's business environment majority of places were as customer's business transactions take place the environment setting is as though "we the customers are supposed to be lucky that you businesses allow us to use your services "! Which apparently has worn down the idea amongst purchaser's in this environment. My companion was overwhelmed with the atmosphere in the store and I fail under the compulsion of sales clerk and the person attempting to achieve the task lack of just falling back & admitting they service pushed by not ture to value.......... Should have been stopped & refunded. Not forced when it was clear that there was a disconnect between what was told could be down/time were not what could actually happen & the equipment needed was a available in the area taken. All of this should have originated at the Geek squad area. The information on what can and can't be transferred as well as the realistic time frame. So the customer has an honest ideal of what's going on before being sold a product. Especially when the shopper is asking detailed information on service delivery promise offered.
