Not everything transftmrered, I jad to transfer my emails.

Still had to put in passwords. Not all worth the 40.00 but it’s done

I go to Best Buy first, for my tech, major home appliances and entertainment needs. Why? For one thing the price match guarantee but just as importantly for the staff and their customer service quality. My newest experience, picking up my new Samsung S7+ 12" tablet, reinforced, my loyalty. Customer Rep Alex was fantastic setting up the tablet and migrating the data and apps from my aging Samsung. Great people make for great business.

I brought my new and old phones in to have the data transferred and the old phone wiped clean. I had an appointment with Geek Squad, but they directed me over to the cell phone sales department. The service was excellent!! I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the tech, but he was knowledgeable and friendly. He also helped me select a new case and put the cover and the screen protector on for me. Thanks!

The sales rep could not find the cotrect connection cable. We were at your store too long while he searched for one. We paid for transfer and then had to go to Verizon to finish the transfer. And they wanted a fee also. BS

This was awfully more pricey than it should have been. Disappointing

I wrote a a review for Best Buy, almost immediately, PRAISING Matt& Shamus & everyone my son & I dealt with when I bought my Pixel 6 128 GB phone. I had been dreading getting a new phone, but I’d had my Droid Turbo for 6+ years & I needed a new phone. Matt & Shamus were knowledgeable, capable & made the whole process move seamlessly.I have praised the Henrietta Best Buy to EVERYONE I know.

The person who helped me with the purchase of my new IPhone 13 was very helpful. She explained everything I had questions about. She made my purchase seamless from my old phone to my new one. She transferred all the info, contacts, emails pass and photos from my old phone to the new phone. I was glad I went to Best Buy In Lakewood Ca instead of the Verizon store.

Wish it was still free in store when purchasing a new phone. But, it wasn't much to worry about and I traded in my old phone so I couldn't do it at home. The process was quick, and roamed the store while it was working. It transferred over all my messages, contacts and pics but not the apps, they said it would take a much longer time. No worries, I just loaded them up when I got home.

It took 6 hours at Best Buy to transfer all my photos from previous Android tablet. Didn't realize it would take that long, but it worked and they are all in the photo app. If you have a lot of photos to add to the new Ipad I would do it when you get home and not pay $40 and wait for 6 hrs. If you only have a few things to transfer I guess its ok.

They look awesome I would love to use them on my grill!

I still find some value in BB, but the sales staff are only moderately competent. I was shocked that the (ostensibly) expert techies at the Samsung kiosk couldn't fix a problem I had with my phone that my personal IT guy sorted out in 3 minutes. Also, when you shop for a long period at my age, you may need a bathroom! When I asked to use one at the 62nd/Bway store they told me "there isn't one." Despite the customers' facilities being unavailable because of a reno there, CLEARLY they still have functioning bathrooms for staff! It's bad enough they won't allow someone who has spent lots of money to use it, but worse that they insult my intelligence by saying none exists. It's just one story indicating the general less than brilliant attitude towards customer service. Another knock: the inventory in the physical stores - or at least that one - has been cut back substantially. But the prices, while not bargain basement, are still more or less competitive and the return policies are reasonable.

Best Buy staff was helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. I was not only pleased with my purchase, but grateful for their working past issues encountered with transferring contact info from old phn to new. Am annoyed with myself tho that I cannot remember the names of the several individuals that helped and advised me. Next time, I'll write it down.

Simple. Could have completed at home and save the money.

Am single, not tech savvy, so with my Geek Tech coverage, it only made sense to utilize the available service for all the odds and ends needed to complete after purchasing new iPhone 13-Pro, printer, and desktop computer. Am thrilled to say that a ton of stress has been removed, and am more than pleased with my new purchases!

The technician did an excellent and outstanding job in converting data and pictures from an android to an iPhone. He was extremely patient knowledgeable and provided numerous hints and tips to my wife who had never used or had an iPhone. It was a wonderful experience working with him. I would highly recommend him. I believe his name is Adrian.

Ethan at the Gainesville, Virginia store, did an excellent jo transferring the data to my new iPad. He quickly and efficiently performed the task and showed me all the new features of the iPad.He was very courteous. Also when the screen shield had a defect, he quickly replaced it with another one.

Previous mobile phone purchases have been done at Verizon, but this time I decided to try Best Buy and I am glad I did. Always took at least 3 hours at Verizon and at Best Buy the process to transfer my data to new phone was about an hour. Associate was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I highly recommend using Best Buy!

I went through this process (data transfer and activation) 3 times in two months. All 3 times were amazingly convoluted and time consuming. I can't say if the issues are with Best Buy or Verizon, but the experience is not positive.
