The way the BestBuy team took care of transferring my old phone to the new phone took all the stress of changing phones out of the equation! The BestBuy associate listened carefully to the concerns and then they took care of the transfer process. This helpful attitude and service is exactly why we buy our technology at BestBuy!

If you use iCloud, iPhones are the best for ease of use data transfer. Don't have to do anything, the data automatically transfers to the new phone. Only thing you have to be connected to Wifi, otherwise the transfer is put on hold unless you choose to use your data plan

This service is fantastic! The Best Buy Agent Wesley (Amherst, NY) was very helpful, polite & knowledgeable. I purchased a new phone & everything was set up & transfered quickly. My new screen protector was also put on my phone professionally - which I appreciate so I didn't have to struggle with bubbles!

I bought the Galaxy A32. Normally I love Samsung products, and have never had much trouble with any of my previous Galaxy models, except where my own lack of tech knowledge has me seeking help from those more savvy than I. But this time, with this phone, I'm having all kinds of trouble with ringers and notifications. I've sought help from younger friends, and even made a Geek Squad appointment. The guy who helped me that day was AWESOME, and was just as confused as I. He tried several fixes, and we finally THOUGHT we had it, but it's still arbitrarily changing my ringers and notifications back to sounds I don't want. And if it is a glitch in this phone, now it's too late to return/trade it, so I'll have to keep it and just deal with my sound issues. Otherwise, it's fine, but maybe try your ringers and sounds out before you leave the store...?...

We did not want to do the data transfer ourselves. The technician at Best Buy did a greater making sure that all our data was transferred. It took quite a while, but it was fine because we wanted it done correctly.My only problem is that BB in the past did not charge for data transfer, but now there is a charge.

While in the store picking up my new Galaxy phone I also had the BB associate transfer my contents from old phone to the new one. The ease with which this procedure, because of the proper equipment that BB had in store, was very impressive. In under five minutes the contents were moved and all in proper order.

Having the total tech plan made data transfer from tje old to new cell phone a pleasant experience. All the data , photos, notes, etc came across seamlessly. It did take up to 2 hours so plan on waiting or do what we did,checkout the nice big screen TV's.

Unnecessary cost and service. Could have avoided cost if they had explained what was included. Half of my data was lost. My choice was either wait in Best Buy for hours for data transfer or use their services

I recently purchased a new iPhone SE primarily because it was the same size as my older iPhone 8. The BB sales technician effortlessly handled the transfer of all my data from the old phone to the new. Very pleased with how quickly the whole process took.

The staff did a great job transferring all of the data, apps and contacts to my new cell phone. it was done quickly and they confirmed the accuracy before returning the phone to me. Probably could have done it myself but did not want to risk an episode of "Murphy's Law"

I went in looking for a new phone. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and helped me select the phone for my needs. Then he transferred all the data from my old phone to the new phone in less than an hour and a half. Fastest time ever! I was thrilled.

This should not be an additional charge. This is just one of those add-on fees that companies do like resort fees and baggage fees that are disgusting

Great service by Seth and the Geek Squad crew. Brought a new iphone in and they changed all the information from two iphones to two other iphones. Great job. Give them all a raise and promote all of them. May cost me a little more in the long run but well worth the money. John Ballis

I purchased the new Samsung Z Fold 3 at Best Buy on sale. Needed assistance transferring phone contents from old phone. With the help of the young phone fella & the software, everything transferred accurately & I didn't have to transfer anything manually. Appreciated the assistance.

Took 5 minutes to choose phone. Took 5 hours to process paperwork and transfer my info to new phone. Would appreciate a little info on new phone. Main way it differs. Get my phones and tablets at Best Buy because of the knowledge the employees have always had. Didn't feel that this time. Any questions seem to have to go through management personnel. I know these are tough times for all businesses but if this had been my first time at Best Buy I wouldn't come back. Was a surprise to me and disappointing. I hope you can get more of your knowledgeable people back. I do realize how fast technology changes but if anyone can do it you folks can. We technomorons need you!

The phone itself is great. The transfer took hours. We kept my old phone and a transfer was done from my husbands old phone to my old phone. Half of my data stayed on what was now my husbands phone including over 200 contacts that I had to delete manually. A number of my apps on the new phone were deleted. I paid $40 for each transfer and feel that the $80 was a complete waste of money. This was the first time I purchased an iPhone at Best Buy and did transfers and will never do that again. I’m very surprised that Best Buy doesn’t train their employees better.

Best Buy associate was very helpful in installing the protective shield on the phone. He went above and beyond with the entire purchase of the protective shield, iPhone 13 Pro Max, sim swap, data transfer, and new cases. Great in-store customer service! Geek squad is AMAZING!

As with all items, assistance, information, application, and support I have received from my Best Buy experiences, my purchase of an iPhone 12 and the data transfer was very thorough and helpful. The professional, positive, thorough, patient and interactions were all excellent.

A lot of my pictures did not go over never had that happen before. Same thing with my wife's phone. We had to sign back into all of our accounts apps. Facebook

DatA was not all transferred when we left the store. I was not told how to finish the transfer. I had to go somewhere else to get this done.
