Well i was charged $40 to transfer data that I was told would take 30min. After nearly an hour I took my phones and left in disgust. I was told it was because I had too many pics and txt messages. Save your self the $$ and do it yourself. After I left i realized my phone came with a cable for the data transfer which would have been quicker and saved me the $$. Wish the guy at the counter would have told me that but was probably happy he made off with my $$ would have given 0 stars if i could but had to give it 1 to submit review.

I chose to pay Best Buy to transfer the phone data so it was painless on my part. For those who know what they are doing and willing to tackle the transfer on their own, from watching the techie it appeared fairly easy to transfer the data.

I purchased a samsung S21+5G cell phone. This phone meets all my expectations. The person who helped me was considerate and very helpful in transferring the information from my old phone to my new phone. The purchase transaction was easy.

I really didn't want to have to pay to transfer my data, but the service I got from the sales associate made it worth it. The transfer wasn't easy because my former provider was giving us a hard time porting my phone number to the new phone.

Marcos, Roy, THomas, and DeSiva all went into "Space Cowboy" mode to transfer my data, solve initial difficulties, and put themselves on the fastract to Geeksquad gallantry. A finer crew I have never seen!!

Anson Wong was very thorough and knew how to accomplish everything that we asked him to do in regard to setting up our new phones and transferring the data from our old phones to the new. We couldn't have picked a better technician to help us.

The associate was super helpful in transferring my data. She showed me that Apple has built in tools for easy phone transfers. If I had to pay for this mobile transfer, I would NOT have done it - matter a fact, before I went to the store, I backed up my phone data expecting to transfer it myself when I got back. Save your money and transfer the data between iPhones yourself. However, if you're transferring data between different types of phones (iOS/Android/etc), it might be worth it. Fortunately, I have Best Buy's TotalTech membership, which included a free data transfer from my old iPhone 7 to my new iPhone 13, so I didn't care.

The team at Best Buy Pasadena are incredible! They take care of me and other customers and I get the answers I need. Having them do data transfers make is easier on me. Great to have total tech!

The Best Buy phone technocian Declan did an excellent andcprofessional job of transfering data from my old Galaxy S 20 Plus to my new Galaxy 22 Ultra and subsequently cleaning the former for rerurn to Verizon.

I am happy all my data from my former phone was switched successfully to my new phone. The Best Buy “ Verizon” person did it , and she was very smart and professional. I recommend her 100%.

I bought a new cell phone and I was worried about the data transfer, but Best Buy pulled it off with a perfect transfer which surprisingly included the transfer of my personal notes! Phenomenal job!

I was charged for the data transfer. When I purchased the phone the sales associate never mentioned there would be a fee for this. Had I known, I would have just purchased the phone directly with my cell phone provider as they transfer data at no charge. Although the manager reduced the fee, I'm still upset because I should not have been charged in the first place. Communication is a must with me and Bed Buy didn't handle it in a satisfactory way.

Terrible. The staff had no idea what they were doing. I was there for 4 1/2 hrs and left without having satisfactory transfer. Spent over 2 hours on phone with Apple support the next day trying to get the mess straightened out. Lost most of my info on apps, so had to re-do most with new user names, passwords, etc. A horrible experience,. Will never buy phone from Best Buy again

what a great experience -- unfortunately I don't remember his name but my BB guiding me through the experience of switching from a 6S to a 13 pro was informative, professional and most of all successful.

I'm sorry to say I forgot the young mans name who helped me. However he was extremely proficient very personable and while wasting no time . Thanks for employing people who know what they're doing

I was unable to do the transfer data and the young lady at Best Buy was great.I don't remember her name but she knew what she was doing.Thanks again to the young lady and Best Buy. JMM

This process is not healthy for regular humans. Without out tech support this is a long lonely process. Having excellent customer support keeps me coming back and spending my hard earned money wisely.

The Geek Squad transferred all my info from my old DEAD iPhone. I am so pleased and thankful for their help. They are so NICE and HELPFUL. So thankful that Best Buy has the GeeK Squad in their store.

Our technical employee that helped us was OUTSTANDING, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, KNOWS WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT. AIDED US WITH ANY QUESTIONS WE HAD. DEFINITELY A BIG ASSET TO BEST BUY!!!!! Transfer of data was smooth.

The gentlemen who helped me was very patient and would not give up till he found a solution. A stellar employee! The lady that helped me with purchasing the phone was also wonderful!
