    I want to play audio books on my iphone 11 through my car speakers, and an adapter is required to plug into the phone. My cord that plugged directly into my old phone worked fine. Using the adapter, I often have static or no sound without fiddling with the position of the phone/adapter. I had already purchased the Apple adapter and had similar issues. I purchased this adapter because it seemed sturdier with its braided cord.
