The sound quality is good with this product for as long as it functions. I've had Apple adapters last between 1 and 6 months before the connection fails; this one lasted 3 months. I had hope that the braided cord would add better protection

Have been using this with a set of Ultimate Ears earbuds but the adapter no longer works after less than a year. When mixed around it causes Siri to come up or for music tracks to skip.

The cable works well. It lacks length and durability. I use it as a headphone attachment. I made a strength attachment to increase its life.

For a few extra dollars this was reported to be more durable. Heavier cable seemed good - for about 2 weeks when it stopped working.

I had to pay through the nose for an adapter to connect headphones or audio out from my iPhone. No problem with the adapter itself, just the ridiculous price for this little piece.
