Mine tend to get loose at the micro-USB end and then you have to wiggle it or put pressure on it to get it to charge the item. This one was more than I usually spend, but I was hoping to get a better quality cable that would last awhile longer. I did! A nice, tight fit on the micro-USB end and the lights on the cable itself actually tell you how much charging is left. (Fast movement for full-speed charging, slowing down when the device is nearing full charge, and off when the device is fully charged.) I've been using it for awhile now, and no loosening in sight. I noticed that it comes in multiple colors. My black cable has bright green LEDs, but I think I will pick up my next one in blue.
