First one I bought broke about 3 weeks in.

I'm on week two with the second one and so far no problems. Works as well as any charger and I like the fact that it lights up when it is charging the phone. It alleviates the aggravation of thinking you were charging the phone over a long drive only to find out the battery is actually lower than when you started.

Is an ok product

Definitely "beefy" and not flimsy like original Apple products. The lights actually work (slow down when approaching full charge) and make it easy to know when to unplug it. Great product!
