The connections on both ends are secure and tight fitting. The lights serve the purpose of identifying from a distance when the device is receiving a charge and when the device is fully charged. The MFi lighted lightening cable is reliable and at a glance from a distance it easily identifies that the device is completely charged or still charging .

I was interested in this product because of the lights. I often use my phone at night and this cord serves as a night light. Also I was very pleased with the ease of return/replace policy of Best Buy on this transaction. It's very convenient that Best Buy keeps all my purchases in their system so I don't have to keep up with receipts.

I like the fact that the cable lights up while charging, which was the primary reason for purchase. I have owned two in the past and within a year, the plastic around the Lightning end cracks and breaks off. This is not a high-end product. Purchase knowing that, keep your expectations low. It works for a while.

I purchased this charging cable as a replacement for a previous cable that had stopped working. I was pleasantly surprised by the lights in the cable and learning that they gave me a visual sign about the status of the charge. This has been a hit with my 8 year olds. I'm hoping to purchase a couple more for my kids. Great product!
