I really like the lighted effect when charging, but found that my music stopped being sent to my cars audio source when the phone was completely charged. Was inconvenient when audio stopped being transmitted every time the phone is fully charged and the lighted effect stops. Still really like the effect and would like to see more colors, lengths and lighting effects. My favorite cable.

Yes it has a cool effect while it charges but this also serves as another purpose. While the light is moving, you know the device is charging. Also, as many of these cords that I have purchased to replace ones that have gone bad, this has outlasted some cords purchased at the apple store. This cord is my second one just so I have one in the car and one at home. The first one I purchased is still working fine.

Works well with a lot of different devices which you have to just keep trying. Works as advertised with blue streaming colored light to let you know it’s charging and the light of the entire cord goes out when completely charged. It’s cool to see it charging and the cord has dancing blue lights. I believe it’s a good buy and worth the purchase price.

Great little charger with a flowing light effect while it's charging. A eye catcher when people see it they want it. Disclaimer that you might want to check local/state laws if your going to use it to charge your phone in your car. It's a fluid moving color in the cable that might get you pulled over for having moving light affects in your car. Overall it's great!

Cable is unbelievable. Gives positive indication of the process of charging. Really cool light streaming toward the item being charged lets you know is is connected and charging. It slows down as the item is almost fully charged. The light stream stops moving indicating item is charged. The only downside is that while it looks bright in the dark, it is hard to see in bright light.

I have had this cable in my truck for two solid years and it continues to charge my phone and also connect to my pioneer in dash receiver. Works as well today as it did the day I purchased it. I get compliments on this all the time mainly: “wow that’s a cool cable where did you get it” I tell everyone I got it at Best Buy

Bought this cable about 3 weeks ago and so far it has been working great. This is the newer version of the modal lighted lightning cable. I was looking for the flat cable version but when I went to the store I found this version. Hopefully this cable will last longer than the flat version. Many reviews say that the older flat version has a short life span. This cable is round. Love looking at the lights.

I love the Modal lighted cables but the previous design definitely had its flaws. This newly redesign cable is much better. Its round instead of flat so it travels better and feels much higher quality. The piece that goes into your phone is smaller and more compact so it fits in most cases very easily and feels better than the previous model, which was kind of hollow and broke on my previous cable.

I love the lighted cable, it gives you a visual check as well that the non lighted cables don't offer. How many times has the wall connector slid out or got pulled from the outlet? It has happened to me many times and this way you know, if its not lit up, its not charging! Only complaint is the connectors are slightly bulky and could have been better looking. (kinda cheap plastic look) but otherwise the cable works great!

One year in and not a single issue, save for the plastic cover over the usb side of cable. It slides down every dozen or so uses. I travel and this is my day/office cable stowed in my backpack. She still charges like a champ, the lights are all working and it still gets compliments every time I pull it out. For an overpriced piece of Chinese poo poo plastic It’s the nicest one I’ve used.

This is a great charger. I have three of them. They charge my phone quickly and they have a unique feature where the cord has a moving light which is fun. What's better is that the light slows down to a trickle when the phone is charged so you can just glance at the cord to see if the phone charge is complete.

This is a great USB cable. Because it lights up when charging, you know it is connected correctly. Our other cable doesn’t light up and it is so irritating to pull your phone off and it hasn’t been charging. This takes care of that. Plus we like the blue color. Very pleased and pricing was very fair.

This is a great little charger cord! I know it’s silly to be excited about a charger cord, but I have to admit I love plugging my phone in and turning on the rolling lights! I use it in my car and the blue lights provide a nice “ambiance” in the evening. My son likes to use it also to charge his phone at night. He says the lights are “calming”.

Great cord, but I guess I should have read the packaging more because I didn't realize it would have moving lights along the cord. The fun lights are faster when you are low on battery and slows as charging finishes. The only problem I have seen with that is at night if you use it in the car, it can become a distraction. Just keep that in mind if you are going to use it in your car.

I first purchased this cable 3 1/2 years ago and only recently my original broke. It is a great cable to have because it is very hard to break even when the cord is wrapped around different things or at awkward angles. Also perfect for charging a phone next to the bed as it lights up and allows you to find your phone easier!

This USB cable is very sturdy and not flimsy like other thin cables. It connects well with all my apple devices. The stream lighting within the cable when the cable is connected is a cool feature. The first time I used the cable to charge a device, I was impressed with this illuminated lighting feature in the cable.

I got this for my iPhone due to needing a new charger, obviously, the thing I didn't know was it lights up when charging the coolest part is when your phone is complete at 100% it automatically stops lighting letting you know its charged. It's really unique and just fun to use. Also, a bonus when it lights up giving the name Lightning Chargers its actual name.

First one stopped working Best Buy was excellent about replacing it with one that worked and it has continued to work great since. My son loves the cool light effects. It’s fast when charging and slows as it nears a complete charge. Honestly hypnotizing to watch puts my kids to sleep on a late drive home. Even better!

We love these lighted charging cables at our house and have purchased several in blue and in gray. You can tell it’s charging when it lights up! Unfortunately, we do not find them to hold up very long with the ends fraying after about a year or so of use. Keep needing to replace them.

People always give me compliments or have funny reactions when they see this cable in action, love it! The previous generation of the cables had the bad habit of breaking. I'm glad to say though that this cable has outlasted any of my previous cables from this manufacturer. Looks like they finally fixed the problems everyone was having.
