Cool but slow

It lights up slow pulse when it's charging and then it kind of stops pulsating light and just stays solid when the phone is completely charged the only bad thing is it takes forever to charge it takes almost 4 hours to charge my phone

Best stick with the original cable

The light speed is supposed to slow down to show you that the phone is near full charge, and then lights completely stop, signaling the phone is completely charged. Used it on my iPhone, and didn't work that well. The cable would often stop charging even though the phone was at 95%. But then just checking the phone real quick would prompt charging again. It's not accurate. Worse of all, would strongly against using it with Apple Products. The USB on the cable doesn't fit properly with Apple power supplies. The pins on the cable ended up destroying the power adapter. You can have the temporary fun with the lights at the expense of not getting a full charge and potentially damaging your Apple Power Adapter. Not sure if the case is the same with Android devices.
