I bought 2 of these units. The cool part is that they appear to be charging your device because there are directional lights. the bad part is the lights stop working and your left with a cord but it still charges.

She needed something to remind her that her phone is plugged in and charging, this one does the trick via the illuminated cable while charging.

Bought 2 sets of these cables; however, after about 2 months, 1 of the cables began to work intermittently. I have to bend the cable down for it to work and even that only resolves the problem half the time.

Two stars just because of the cool led lights. Worked well for the first week. Then led lights didn't always work and now only charges to 97%. Cord is very stiff and connectors seem fragile. Bought this to take on travels but afraid to coil it up and break it. Would be a great cable if it worked; not only is the led lights cool, but usefull as well by giving visual indication of the charging status: fast led movement=fast charge, slow movement=trickle charge/almost full, and led off=fully charged (well, 97% in my case). Think I'll just get the original Apple cable when this dies...which, hopefully is not that soon.

It is a charging cable. It charges my daughters iPhone. She had some cheap cables that didn't work but this works fine. The lights are a nice addition.

I purchased two of these cables a few days apart for two apple devices in my home. Within a week or so, the first cable lost half of the LED lighting without ANY damage to the cable or either end; it however continued to charge/sync my devices. The second cable I purchased, about a week after the first one stopped lighting up, totally stopped working and my apple devices just showed a notification stating "This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPhone." Funny...because the package states the cable IS indeed apple certified. Didn't even bother returning the cables, as I had misplaced the receipts. Lesson learned, and although your experience may differ, take my advice and don't buy it.

This is a fun cable with blue lights that move when your iPhone is charging. When the phone is fully charged, the blue lights stop moving but stay lit.

This charger cable was a replacement of a previous Modal iPhone charger that failed after less than three months. The second charger failed in less than a month. I won't get another Modal charger cable.

Main purpose of purchasing this cable was the apparent sturdiness of the cable endpoints as appose to the regular apple made lightening cables which are just not meant to last. Yes, the led glow is a crowd pleaser, but it too faded away with just 1 month of use. I might still have lived with not seeing the flashy lights but then after couple of more days of use, the charging became erratic and I had to plug-unplug my iphone repeatedly in order for it to get to charge. Really dissapointed.

I purchased my 1st Modal Apple charger six months ago and we're now needing our 5th and 6th between my two girls. You'd think I'd learn my lesson but they're the cheapest mid-quality I've found.

It worked as expected, the cost was reasonable and the light up feature wowed my son and is a detterant for his friends trying to take it.

This product does not feel quality made however it does do the job. I do not know if it was just mine or if anyone else was having issues with charging their phones but my cord would only work when it wanted to.

Good cable. Not good for charging phones at night since the bright light may be bothersome to some, but I keep in my office. Everyone like it! :)

This charger is great the way it light up and depending how much charge the phone has the lights either go faster or slower, great buy.

I thought it was a fun little toy with the only drawback being the usb plug being a bit cheap and bulky. It was broken in less than 4 months as it was only a plastic covering over a small board.

The lighted LED cord makes it easy to find your apparatus anytime anywhere. The heavy a design has taken a lot of torture and abuse from my kids!

I am so tired of buying products that are Apple certified to find out when I got home, that they do not work as advertised. Fortunately, Best Buy never hassles me when I return items that do not work.

Really a cool invention. Lights change speed to let u know when it's almost done charging. Like it so much I got the white one and the punk one!

Nice lightening cable. We loved it so much (even guests who saw it as well ) that I gave it to my dad during my recent trip to india.

Works well, at first I thought the fact it lit up was rather silly, but I have to admit when it's dark in the car it's much easier to find it.
