We have tried many cables - of varying price points and brand names - which survived a few weeks or months of standard usage - only to break at the point where the cable goes into the connector. The pricey Belkin one broke, so we went to Best Buy to seek out other options and this one seemed to be the sturdiest option at the time. It has survived longer than the others, including some extensive travel. It also has a fun light up cable, which adds to it's panache. At $20 it was highly overpriced, but then again ALL charger cables are highly overpriced. The mark up is insane for a product genre that, in general, sucks at durability. I give this one 4 stars because so far it's survived but was overpriced. If I never have to spend another dollar on a lightning charger cable, then I'll up it to 5.

My son needed a new charging cord and this one fits the bill! The streaming lights down the cord let you know when your ipod is fully charged without having to look at the screen. The lights are cool!

I love these cords so much more than the Apple OEM cords! I will never buy another Apple cord again. These cords will withstand the test of time over any Apple cord. In my opinion Apple needs to buy them!

I use this cord daily in my car. The lighting moves as long as the cord is charged into the socket & the phone. Otherwise it does not light up. I love that this is a way for me to know it's working.

The lights on the charger flash while your device needs to be charged. The flashing slows down and eventually stop when your device is full charged. Pretty cool to see too. Great gift idea!

I bought this lighted charger because a friend bought one accidentally. I love it. Though my intention was not to show it off to everyone, I get compliments on it all the time.

First bought it because it was on sale once I got it home and used it seemed to be better than the other cords I had purchased in past including the one that came with our products original packages.

This is a GREAT Lightning USB cable that continues to work 2 years after purchase! Bought other cables for other parts of the house and they've only lasted 6 months. Hate Apple for that. Must buy.

Love the fact that it's lights up when charging...

This cable lets you know from a distance that your cellphone is being charged and that it is working properly. It also lets you know when your cellphone is fully charged. What a great device!!!!!!!!

I was hesitate about buying a non-Apple product for my phone charger but I decided to buy this because I like the color purple and I must say it is one of the best chargers I've ever own.

I was definitely one to be sold by lighting charging cord , it was nice but did not last long eventually only half the cord would light and then just burnt out on me. I don't like to spend a lot of money on apple chargers unless it is specifically apple.

The cord works great and is really nice to watch while charging in the dark. Bought it for my kids phone and he thought it was really neat that it looks like the power is flowing into the phone with the lights.

The Chargers pretty amazing. I really like it and it's useful it's always best to have more than one available so in case one breaks this one in particular is good strong and last long.

It's a pretty lengthy cord, more than what I expected. The only downfall is just my poor placement of the cable and it shines at night lol but it is a very handy cable and very durable.
