It lights up the actual energy current. It's so cool. Lots of compliments! Although we had to return this because the Lightning part of the cable broke off, but that has been a weak point for cables these days.

you know when its working, lights up when re-charging. when finished charging, no longer lights up.

This is way better than the charger you get with the iPhone. It's sturdy and the wires won't break or fray. I use it mostly in my car and like the fact that it lights up. I'm very happy with this purchase.

After I got this modal charging cable, I have stopped using the one Apple provides with their devices. When devices are still charging the light is on & once done or close to being done the light stops. The visual indication is a huge plus for me. I have two toddlers, so I wish it was more durable. The plastic top on the charging end already broke but it's still operational. I will definitely get another one & recommend it.

Love this cord. First of all it works great with no problems. Second, I love the signal that it gives to show when you are charging, almost charged, and fully charged. Loved it so much I now own 4 of them.

i bought the blue cable. It lights up when it is charging and it goes off when it is fully charged or unplugged. No more checking my phone to see if it's fully charged. The cable does it for me now.

cute cable that does the job. Would recommend for use in car as if you use at the bedside the cable has a nice bright blue continuous moving light that stays on the entire time your device is connected

I purchased this to use in my truck and Love how it lights up. It makes it easy to find in the dark. It really charges my phone fast and I went ahead and purchased a second cable for my husbands truck!
