works well, the lights let you know how much it is charging by how fast the lights are moving

This is a nice cable. The light surges when your device is being charge, and cuts off when not.

This USB/lightning recharging cable works fine on the phone by itself. But I have a life proof case and the cable does not fit through the small charging port on my case. If you have a life if you have a life proof case by a different charger

I bought this for my husband. The cord is thick, and durable. It easily plugs into the iPhone 5, even with an Otter Box on the phone. It also plugs into the charging cube easily as well. He has usesd the cord everyday for the last 2 months. It never gets tangled, or kinked. (Unlike the original charger that came with the phone) whe the phone is charging the cord is lighted. Once the phone is fully charged the lights stop. The only reason I give 4 stars is because the USB end won't fit into a car charger, in the vehicle. Overall this is a good product.
