Buyer beware

It has worked with no problems until an Apple update has rendered it nearly useless. It appears Apple is clamping down on 3rd party chargers which may cause damage to the Ipad, by changing the parameters within the Ipad to only allow chargers putting out a specific amount of amperage. Not sure if this is the case, but this charger will no longer work until something can be done by Apple, which I believe will not. Buyer beware!!!

Nice sturdy cable!

This one is different, the cable is covered, so not as much tension on the actual cord. My son has one that is similar, same brand & he has had it for almost 6 months without it coming apart or getting a shortage. The charge indicator light is a great feature as well.
