It does what you need it to do and the lights are a novelty. The wide base on the USB side does not fit popular car adapters.

This thing is way stronger and cooler than the apple usb to lightning cord that comes with Apple devices. I got it on sale for $9.99, so it was a steal. Not sure about data transfer speeds, but it works great as a phone charger for my iPhone 6+.

The cord does it's job. It charges my phone and syncs with my computer. I've noticed as the phone gets into the 90 percentile charging range the light show on the cord slows down or doesn't show. This doesn't affect the charge my phone gets though

The cord works well and provides a fast charge. The lighted cord is cool, but can be distracting after the novelty wears off.

This cord charged quickly and its kind of cool that it lights up. The module where the USB end is broke in less than a month. I was not hard on it and it broke when I was plugging it into a car charging point. I super glued it back together. We'll see how long it holds up.

I actually bought three of these lightning cables in various colors. It's nice to see the charging process. Some other competitors have since come on the market, but cost $10 more. The only reason I did not rate these at 5-star is because the cable is a little larger than I would like, but I am still very happy with the product(s).

It may start going out and blinking sparaticly not like its suppose to. Only happens after long periods and long life usage.

I LOVE this charger. I love the blue lights that flash through the cord to let you know their is power going to it. I used it at a tailgate when my car was off and I LOVED that I could see if it was charging or not when the car was off, it still charged while their was still some reserve battery on the car. I bought this mostly as my car charger and the ONLY downfall is when driving at night I have to cover the blue light because it is distracting to me. Other than that I LOVE this cord a million times more than the regular ones that come with the IPhone's.

Colorful! My kids love it! The light indicator makes it convenient to know that the gadget is fully charged at the glance!

This cord was great until the lights stopped working. I could always tell if there was power going through the cord when it was connected to my phone. Other cords don't have this feature and I would plug my phone in thinking it was charging and find out that there wasn't a connection. Now, the cord still works, but the lights in the cord don't. I'm hoping it is just defective cause the idea is good.

Very cute & inexpensive charger. The only problem is they don't very long. I have to get a new one every couple of months.

This is a very fancy charging cable that attracts the eye of a lot of people. I like how you can see the current through the cable and when your device is fully charged it stops. A lot of friends ask about it when they come over and visit.

The product does a good job charging. The blinking cable is a bit bright at night.

Hard to tell when it is charging fast and when it is charging slow. Very little difference in the speed of the lights

this charger is neat with the color and the way it lights up, my husband loved it and used it in his car. However 2 months later it stopped working!!! NOT happy about that.... Past the return date but I may still see if I can exchange it because that is crazy!

I bought 2 of these, different colors, for my grandson's Apple IPad Air and his Apple IPhone he got for Christmas. They are a lot sleeker and cool looking than the standard charging cables they come with. Made a big hit with him.

Bought the Modal 3' lightning cable to go with my car charger. It was the same price as the plain ones. This one has moving LEDs that go faster when it's having to charge a lot & slows down when almost charged. The Grandkids love it!

Love this USB lightning charging cable. It makes a great replacement or additional iPhone or iPad charging cable. The cable lights up when your device is charging, which makes it easy to see when your device has finished charging.

I have been using my new charging cable for a few months now and it is working as advertised! The best feature of this cable is the lighting indication that varies based on charging status. I plan on getting one for work as well!
