braided cable offered no protection from breakage. after one use, braided end near iphone connector becaame compromised. no excess stress or extraordinary conditions applied to the cable

i will be bringing back this cord I had to ship it to my daughter at college and it says it is not compatible with her iPhone. I read box and her phone was listed. I may try on my phone but if it doesn't work then ill be returning the item.

This product worked well and the length was good but it only lasted about three months in the hands of my 15 year old son. May be better for someone who isn't so hard on it.

I purchased because I thought this cable surround would help this cable last a long time, unfortunately it stopped working after 5 months and the knitting shows no sign of wear but the cable looks fine!!

I liked the fact that this cable is longer but it's more expensive (4 times more)and do last longer than the ones we buy $5 at the gas stations. I bought it over and over( 3times)! I'm most disappointed!!

Should have known by the price. I thought the braided cord would last "forever" but only lasted 2 months. I am going to try to return it and get the genuine Apple charge cable instead.

I got it for a friend and have not asked if it works good or not. So I really can not say one way or the other. I have not gotten any negative information from him and I think he is happy with it.

I had the same charger the first one held for 2 months and started to lack the power it would take hours for it to 100 percent. The cable I had was pretty bad. Hopefully this one hold longer.

I would have returned this item had I not run out of time; the charger is very spotty. It says that it is Apple certified, but it never fully charged my phone! Very disappointing.

I have bought several of these cables and for the most part are happy with them. They do have a tendency to fray at the edges of the lightning plug after a few weeks of use.

Want a longer cord to charge your phone?? Sounds great doesn't it. Too good to be true. Broke the first day we had it. Bought another one just like it and it broke on the 3rd day.

I bought 2 of these cords based on the sales persons reccomendation. Just another cheap charging cord that only lasted a couple months. Not happy with this purchase.

Like most cords, it is not made well and it stopped charging after only a couple months. I am disappointed that I was talked into buying another cheap cord!

Sorry Modal, your products are not made to last the month. I think this must be by design, because how else will we charge our devices??

Was fine at first, but after some time , it stopped working… so I went to the store to get a replacement, but not buying it again…

It is already not working. I was hoping it would last longer than the others because it seems reinforced. This stopped working within a couple of weeks.

wish these cords where a little more substantial somehow. Tired of replacing them every few months and at the price, its is getting pricey.

Cable guit working, it did not keep a charge. I liked the cool intermittent light. The cabin appeared to be very strong, but it failed.

I love the look when they are charging and they come in a variety of colors. However you have to be careful the plastic on the end is cheap.

This product is cheaply made and does not work with iPads. It does charge the iPhone but broke. Buy an Apple charger instead.
