Our dogs chewed through the Apple cord that came with one of our phones. My husband continued to use the cord in the car to charge his phone. I was slightly nervous it would catch fire so I bought him this cord as a replacement. He LOVES it. He likes the color and more importantly he likes that this one doesn't feel as flimsy as the Apple one. He can pull the end out and it hold together. I am probably going back to buy another one for myself for the car.

I love this lightning/charging cable! This is so much sturdier than the cable that came with my phone (iPhone 5 w/the white rubber covered charging cable). After going through my 3rd white rubber covered cable I finally opted for this one. Best decision ever! This cable is strong. I bought the 4ft length. Wish it came in a 6ft length but that is my only "complaint ". There is no difference in charging time with this cable as opposed to the original one. All around fantastic purchase!
