This cable is a bit thinner than the plastic-covered one I used to have, but I think the braided covering should be fine.

I've been having trouble with cords getting kinked where they end up having been a short in it and not always working properly. I purchased the braided cord thinking it wouldn't kink and so far so good. Seems very flexible and charges great!

It's long, and it's better made than the original apple cable. It's got a braided kind of texture that I love, and the color options are beautiful (love blue the best). It's the best non expensive option for alternative charging cables

This charging cable is great for the more rough individual. The way that it is braided allows for you to handle the cord in a less gentle manner without fear of it bending or breaking. Appears to be great quality and should last for ages.

I didn't keep this one afterall. I took it back I didn't need it.

Like the braided cord , bad problem is it gets very hot while barging your product.
