It works fine. Plug it in. Leave it or take it with you. It charges your iPhone until Apple changes to a different connection. Then you'll have to buy another one

Overall, seems to be a more rugged cable than most, but we'll have to see if it can stand the test of time. I feel it will likely hold up better than other cables used in the past, based solely upon the build quality.

This charging cable is like a hybrid of the original Apple cable and the thicker braided cables flooding the market these days. The thickness and flexibility are somewhere in between the two. I like it so far.
