    I selected this model because the cable is a lot thicker than the ultra-thin genuine Apple cords. I have two of these cords. Unfortunately, one of them broke where the wire connects to the plug, even though the only pressure I put on it was to carefully plug in and unplug the phone. It still works, most of the time, if I wiggle it around.
