This is just a basic charging cable but it works well and the price was reasonable.

Needed a long cord to use because sometimes I need to use my pad or phone while it is charging

This cable looked great and the material made it seem like it would be more durable than, for example, the Apple Lightning Cable. It lasted about as long as a regular Apple cable. There are better options out there in the same price range (or lower). I'd opt for something else.
