I used it on just 3 or 4 brief trips and then it died. Not helpful on a $35 product. Thought getting the braided version would be more durable. Will try not to purchase Modal again. I travel a lot and needed something that would hold up, however this cord already has charging issues. Sometimes is works and other times it doesn’t. I wouldn’t buy this product if you are looking for a “durable” option.

Returned it at Best Buy and they exchanged it for the exact same one since it had a one year warranty from the manufacturer. Hope the new one lasts longer.

Yes, it is braided, however I already replaced 2 within 1 month (I bought 2 together). You’re better off going with the Apple Brand OR (for price point) Insignia brand. I’ve had the insignia lightening cable and they’ve lasted me a ~ a year.
