This product wasn't not even that much cheaper than an apple brand charger, but opted to get this braided one thinking tho it would last longer. I will not know how long it lasts as I am returning this item. The biggest thing was that it made my phone & iPad VERY HOT.

I am returning this cable. I have had modal cables in the past and they were ok. This may just be a bad one that slipped through but it has ceased to function. I have yet to find a cable more reliable than the Apple branded ones.

Might as well use your cable that comes with your phone. This doesn't make any difference or makes charging super lighting fast. A waste of money and bulky. There you have it, don't throw your cable that comes in your phone.

This charging cable is not compatible with the iPhone 5S. It worked for about a month then a message came on my iPhone that this charger was not compatible. It would not & did not work anymore. I spent over $30.00 & I’m very disappointed in this product.

I have had this charger for 2 month and already returned it once because it wasn’t working. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and got the same one and it isn’t working again. Other chargers work fine with my phone so I know it’s not my phone.

This is the 2nd modal cord we purchased due to price. each time there was trouble with the cord. the first stopped charging after 90 days. this second one lasted all of 35 days (past return or warranty) before catching on fire

I had this for almost 2 months and right after the window to return it stopped charging. When I would plug it into my phone it would fluctuate in power so my phone say charged/ not charge over and over again.

I thought this charger would be better for my iPhone because it wouldn’t unravel. However it sucks!!! Stops charging every time. Had to replace it 3 times in a matter of 6 months. The only good thing is the length of the charger.

Though it was a nice tough braided cable, yeah it broke 5 days after the warrantee expired. So i got 20 days of use. Just like most cabled it was the lightning tip that broke, and its totally useless. I would not recommend buying this.

I'm assuming because the packaging had a red sticker on it that this was a defective charging cord from the start. It didn't charge my daughter's phone at all. My Dad ended up getting her a charger from Sprint instead, and I returned this one.

It worked for about four days before giving the typical “This Accessory may not not be supported” I even tried cleaning the ports, trying different outlets, turning on airplane mode and turning off the phone and still nothing...

We bought this on June 27th and it's already broke by August 1st. The cord right where it meets the adapter plug is worn in 5 weeks! Won't charge without sitting in a certain position. Garbage and a waste of money.

This review is for the replacement Modal 10' Lightning USB Charging Cable after the first one frayed. Well the Lightning end came out of it's end and returned it back to Best Buy. I give up on this one.

I've purchased two 10' charge cords. Both stop have stopped working within 4-6 months, Stay with the shorter cords. They work MUCH better. The longer they are, the more expensive, the cheaper they must be made??

This item snapped off and broke when my phone fell off the bad from about a 2 or 3 foot fall. I would hope that this wouldn’t have been the case because the length worked well but that happened and ruined it for me!!!

sorry Modal your products are very poor quality. I'm surprised they are still in business, these products do not last more than a few weeks. I few this is by design so consumers keep buying them to charge our devices.

This cord does not last outside of a week after purchasing. Very disappointed! It’s suppose to be sturdy and it didn’t last one week. The cord unravels and stops charging. I want my money back

Got this in Oct 2019. Cable stop charging phone in January. First time purchasing this brand and will be the last time. Always give something a chance until it proves otherwise.

Do not buy this cord. This cord is poor quality . It worked for less than 90 days. This is my 3rd purchase so I am now sure its not me.
