I bought this because I thought it would be sturdy and I needed the length. Thank goodness this cord comes with a 1 yr warranty that Best Buy has honored so far (the box says it’s manufactured for Best Buy), because I’ve had 2 break in the last 4 months. I recommend it as long as you keep your receipt and box. You’ll need them.

I bought the cable hoping to get one that was longer lasting than the generic Apple lightning cables since mine was basically dead. I have no idea how long these actually last and I'm not going to find out because I am fed up with the noise! The plug in it must be loose or something because it just keeps disconnecting and reconnecting every time I plug it in. You have to get the cable in just right or else it will beep for what feels like ages. And even then it will most likely come lose after a little while. I don't care if the Apple ones are less durable, at least they don't make my phone beep incessantly at, like, 3 a.m. I will not be buying anything from Modal again after using this and seeing everyone else's horrible experiences with them.

When I first purchased this cable, I was super impressed with its quality. The connections seemed solid, the braiding around the cable seemed solid and appeared to make the cable worth the extra expense. Now that I'm close to a year, the rubber boot around the cable is cracked in half. The lightning connector appears to be on the verge of separating from the cable itself. At least with my Apple cables, I could yet a couple years out of them before self-destructing. I would recommend buying a cable for half the price and plan on replacing at the end of year; you'll be money ahead.

I thought this was going to be a great charging cord but it stopped working. Brought to best buy to exchange and they wouldn't do anything about it. I have a friend who had the same thing happen to her cord after a few months as well. Don't recommend this cord. The only good thing about it is that it is 10 feet long.

I purchased this cord a month ago. I only use it in my room to charge my phone. After only using this cord for a short amount of time. It has broke. It will not charge anything. I have plugged it into many outlets, nothing works. This is the second cord purchased from this company and they have both broke.

This product did not last very long. I bought it and after two months of normal use, the wire frayed and became a hazard to use which we discovered when we had plugged it in and it began to spark.

Bought this 3 months ago was very pleased with it very good Quality but sadly it didn't last long it just completely stopped working very disappointed

It lasted one month to the day. No visible physical damage.
