Connection not great

I've never had this happen with a cord since they were invented with cell phones. It makes me wary about the brand switch I tried. Also, a personal preference, I suppose, but I have been using 6 ' cords for years. I figured a 3' cord would be sufficient to leave next to my living room chair. Nope. It has annoyed me. Next time I will go back to a 6' cord.
