seems that most of these cords go out fairly quickly, this one seems better made than most

This cable looked great and the material made it seem like it would be more durable than, for example, the Apple Lightning Cable. It lasted about as long as a regular Apple cable. There are better options out there in the same price range (or lower). I'd opt for something else.
