My iPhone charger had a split in the casing so I had to replace it. Of course I went straight for the Apple cords but a nice associate in the mobile phone section recommended this cord. He uses them and they have outlasted the Apple cords. He stated how much he loves Apple products, (me too) but the braided cord on this product was better and stronger and would last longer.

This charging cord is great. I love the ten foot length- it’s perfect on vacation at hotels, outside on the deck and in the house the kids can still use their iPads while it’s charging as there such a long cord now. My sister loved it when she saw the kids charging and using their devices that she went to Best Buy to purchase one as well.

I purchased the Modal 4" Lightning USB Charging Cable for my car. It's one of the best investments I made for safety and security. If I forget to charge my phone overnight and I am on my way to an event or even shopping and I notice my phone is has a very low battery, I plug my phone into the Modal Cable and have the comfort of knowing my phone will have enough juice so the I am able to use my phone.

The way that my room is set up, I need a really long charging cable when I'm in bed. Wireless charging is useless when you still need to use your phone. The quality of the cable seems very high & reliable. I dont think the cable will fray like Apple cables do. Also comes with a detachable velcro strap so you can adjust the length if it's too long.

I bought this for my mom since her last one frayed and stopped charging her phone. I asked an associate for help as I don't own Apple products and wanted to get her one that would last. This was recommended by the man that helped me and my mom loved it! She says it's awesome and charges her phone fast. She recommends it, so I will too - even though I'm not an Apple person. :-)

Have you needed just a couple more feet to plug in your device for charging? This 10' cable with solve that problem. It also comes in handy for someone sitting in the backseat of your car if there isn't a charging port available for them to use. Consider this an extension cord for all of your devices. This is quite a handy product!

This is the best charger I have ever purchased. The reinforced wire makes it much more substantial than the charging cable Apple offers. I expect it to last much longer than other brands in the same price range. Plus it is longer than the other cords that were available in the store. I was glad that the Best Buy employee recommended it.

A very sturdy cable that seems like it will wear well. However, the woven sheath that gives it its strength also makes it very stiff. It lacks suppleness, so the cable doesn’t coil at all. You have to sort of fold it up. This leaves kinks in the cable that can easily be straightened. My complaint is mostly esethetic: the “feel” of the cable is stiff, so coiling for storage is weird. That said, the cable has functioned flawlessly.

This cable is great. It is a little stiff so it may not bend as tight as oem apple cables but I haven’t found it to be an issue. I finally got fed up and purchased this cable after having the cable sleeve tear on my apple cable in under a year. This cable appears to be manufactured to a higher standard than apples oem cables, but time will tell. So far I am really impressed.

I bought my Sony Bravia 10-months ago and didn’t really feel that the picture quality was that great especially for the quality of TV I bought. Asking Best Buy’s sales staff they suggested an upgrade of cables and to ensure they were positioned correctly. WOW - Ultra HD is amazing and these cables, and Best Buy’s sales staff, helped bring it to me. Thank You all!!

As most people know, these cords can be cheaply made and last only a couple of weeks, or be very expensive but still last only several months. I have a 6 foot cord, which is great for home charging, and so far has not frayed or have issues with the charger top. However, i can foresee it will probably happen over several months. It’s pricy: it was the same price as an Apple product, but even the Apple products wear out quickly. I’d recommend it as I have not found a superior cord on the market yet.

This cable works well and is very mobile, bends well, and it's length is great compared to the standard stock cable provided in your iPhone by Apple. This cable is just being used in my car and is easy to move the cable out of the way of things without it snapping back to its previous position. The length is great for my car to pass the cable along to my friends to connect their phones.

Bought this for my son who is brutally hard on phone charging cables. Off-brand cables that try to duplicate Apple cables rarely work at all, and Apple cables tend to fray just before the end the plugs into the phone if you are not extremely gentle with them. This cable is braded and I'm hoping it will last longer. Gave it 4 stars because we've only had it for about 2 weeks, so it will be a while before I know how well it stands up to the abuse. If it lasts, I'll be getting many more for the rest of the family.

I have been looking for a really heavy duty charging cable for my iPhone because all seem to pull apart. This Modal has a very impressive feel and it appears the connectors are molded to the cables. Replacement cables seem boring but when you replace as many as I have, I am thankful for a heavy duty solutions. Also Best Buy a very good price on these.

I needed a new lightening cable. The original Apple cable, that I was using in my car, wore out. It’s unfortunate but original cables break right near the connector. This cable is reinforced and should last until I either buy a new car with wireless charging, or Apple moves to a new connection. If you buy this connector you will not be disappointed. Good luck.

So far it is still working with my iPhone as so many quit working. This is due to the cable manufacturer not buying a license from Apple to make a truly compatible cable (that is Apple for you). We will see how it holds ups. I have had some take months before they stopped working. The braided blue cord is nice to the touch.

I bought this charger for my car (on sale) and all I got to say is that it does the job perfectly. Its long enough that all my friends can use it, no matter what seat they are in, but not too long that it becomes a hindrance. The braided design allows me to wrap up the excess and only use what I need and, most importantly keeps it from getting tangled!

I had one of these in my car since Apple went to the new lightning cord and it has held up well. My wife was frustrated with her car cord (competitor), because it never held up (frayed, flimsy, etc.). What I like about this cord is that you can mold it and not worry about the cord tangling or getting in the way. Great product and perfect for use as a car charger.

My previous car cable died recently so I got the 4' Modal cable and it works very well. It's long enough to work in my car or the many rentals I use on travel. It's durable, flexible and tough. The fit and finish are great. Sure, it's just a cable, but it's a nice one and far less expensive and more durable than an Apple cable.

I grabbed this cable on sale about a month ago and it has served me quite well to this point. The only issue I would warn people is the cable does hold shape so if you put under your arm rest it may kink and cause the cable to weaken. Other than the cable kinking under extreme circumstances, I would say this is a very good buy.
