Lightning cables produce a quick charge. They are durable as well, outlasting the numerous times my kids pull them in/out of wall sockets.

I much prefer these to the standard Apple charge cables. Much more durable, and 4' instead of 3' for pretty much the same cost.

This cable is really sturdy and I wanted something that would not fall apart like the wires that the iPhone cable charger did to me.

As long as you have kids, cables will get lost and broken. This is as good as others. Good to have color to tell whose is whose.
