I bought this for my wife and she loves it. Easy to use. Battery op so no cords or recharging. The batteries seem to last for a lot of bottles.. Got it really cheap. Very happy with it.

This battery operated wine bottle opener was delivered quickly, and came in a nice box with a windowed front - which would make it a great gift for a wine lover! The wine bottle opener does require four AA batteries, which were not included. It's tall and wide (about the size of a large pepper mill), and fits nicely in the palm of your hand. It's made of heavy duty plastic that has a rubberized coating. The operating buttons are well designed and fashionable (they actually look like one long button), one for removing the cork and one for ejecting the cork out of the opener. The set also comes with a cool foil remover that doubles as a stand for the opener when not in use.

Great opener that is very easy to use. It is battery operated so it powered on its own and lights up. So much better than the manual openers!

This Wine Opener works very well! I selected the battery operated one because reviewers of the rechargeable version were disappointed in the loss of charge with that one. The battery operated version works like a charm! Easy to use and it does as it says..pulls the cork off the bottle then jettisons it from the device. I still use the manual old style device but now have this for those who don't know how. I'm just sorry I didn't buy it in quantity when it was on sale for $8 and give it away as gifts later. Get this! You will not regret it!

This is a great wine opener. I have it in our camper. Since it's battery operated instead of rechargeable, it's always ready when I need it. It is very powerful and has pulled the toughest corks out with ease. I have broke several rabbit corkscrew openers before but this one can handle the job. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone needing a great wine opener. The BEST.

Came earlier than expected. This is the second one I ordered because the first one works so well. Bought this one for the lake house. Have had the first one for about a year and still going strong. Wife has a hard time using cork screws. Not an issue anymore! Highly recommend!

This wine opener is great! The top comes off and acts as a foil cutter. I like the blue light that emits when uncorking a bottle. It's very easy to use and works well. The batteries were a little tricky to put in because the labels were hard to see, but that's the only negative. Overall this was a great purchase!

This is a nice battery operated wine opener and everyone loves it. I got it as a deal of the day I believe so for 8.00 you can’t beat it. I ended up giving it away to a friend that loved it and purchased the battery operated one and it works just as good.

I bought a bunch of these as christmas gifts for people around the office and a few for family members. At this price I also bought myself one and it works great. It takes 4 triple AAA batteries but it comes with them so no need to purchase extras right away. The batteries actually last a very long time without use as well. Would definitely recommend.

I got this for half price from a deal of the day sale. I chose the battery operated model over the rechargeable because I us rechargeable batteries anyway. This wine opener does what it says. It removes the cork from the bottle and then removes the cork from the screw, easy peasy. Wish I had bought more on sale for gifts.

Good product if you don’t want to pay a lot for an opener. It works as directed but if you drink a ton of wine I would upgrade to a stronger unit.

I finally decided I had to purchase a quality wine opener after attempting to open wine pulling the cork each time. This works great! I just cut the tab with the top of the device. Then I just hold the device over the cork, push on the button and it moves down to grab the cork. I then simply push in the opposite direction to pull the cork out and move in the opposite direction to release. That's it. Great buy.

This wine opener is very easy to use! It runs on batteries, so you don't need to plug it in or anything. The instructions are simple and it's extremely convenient!

Works well! Like the lighted lower portion where you can see the cork, and the foil cutter on top. Just wish it was rechargeable.

There are many wine openers out there, but they usually have a glitch. This one is great right out of the box. Used it immediately and is still being used.
