The main part of the case is described by Modal as a combination of microfiber-lined polycarbonate cradle and a TPU bumper surrounding your iPad. It feels much stiffer in the corners and a bit softer on the sides. I think this adds a comfortable feel for use while still giving one added protection on the corners should a drop occur. The front cover acts as a built in stand for two sides of the iPad for horizontal viewing. There is no built in stand for vertical viewing. The flap on the front cover is magnetic which is a great feature that provides sleep/wake function for one's iPad. No worrying about turning the iPad on or off again. An additional, convenient feature is the built in storage for an Apple pencil on the inside of the case. Cutouts for the camera, buttons and ports seem to line up well for a 10th generation Apple iPad. Given the nice selection of iPad colors these days it is a nice touch that the back offers a clear view of the iPad color and Apple logo. This Folio case is a nice value given that if offers decent protection and some nice features with a lightweight feel.
