Decently easy to grip & hold, not as slippery as other clear cases. Protective for small to mid-size drops. White discolors/dirties quickly, though, which requires routine cleaning.

Great Hard-Shell Phone Case. Go Modal!

Enter the Modal hard-shell case. What strikes me immediately was the white color of this case. The white color against my iPhone gives off a nice color contrast. The case surrounds my iPhone well. All of its buttons are fully operational, and the lightning port is accessible and fully functional. The back of the case is clear plastic and is advertised as being scratch resistant. The manufacturer claims that the case is shock resistant from a drop up to 6 feet on wooden floors. Honestly, I was not going to drop my iPhone from 6 feet to test that claim. The magnetic charger when fitted to the back phone case does allow for wireless charging to occur. This is an important aspect, as sometimes I charge wirelessly and other times with the lightning cord attached. So, the case works regardless of the charging method utilized. If you are looking for a decent case for protection of your device, you found it. The case is not slippery when handled, offers decent drop protection, is slim in nature, and looks and feels great. Buy one, as it has made my recommended list.
