We purchased at the store along with a screen cover. We do not use our Ipad much, mostly at home. Three of the corners of the case cracked / broke off 13 months after purchase date. It has a one year warranty, so s.o.l.

The iPad case is decent for a $15 cover. It doesn't seem to stay propped very well and usually falls backwards over a seemingly short period of time. The corner plastic pieces have fallen off after 3-4 months. Literally fallen off into my hand while holding the iPad. It has never been dropped, but after seeing the plastic fall apart with no wear, I imagine it wouldn't hold up well.

The product fits very well to my iPad Air 2. The color and design are beautiful and stylish. However, it is a bit heavy.

After three months I discovered the failure spot for this case. The small corners by the lid side are weak. One broke after only three months. The case was still holding the iPad in so I didn't do anything about it. Now, at the fourth month, the other corner broke, so the case is useless. I will attempt to return it to Best Buy, but...

I this case is AWESOME for a number of reasons. 1- The material it's made from is extremely similar to Apple's original case. 2- The buttons cut-outs are made to perfection. Volume, power, headphone jack, speakers, mics, etc. 3- The way iPad snaps on in really AWESOMELY. 4- Magnetic closure is great. BUT, this brand claims that the cover supports the screen on/off feature when the magnetic cover is on and off the screen which I haven't been able to make it work. Yes, I already made sure the the on/off feature button is on. BUT, fot the $18 I paid for the case vs Apple's $79 price, I can definitely live without that feature. That's why I still wanna give this case a 5 stars. Last second update: As I was finishing this review, I decided to give it one last try to see if the cover would turn the screen on and off and it worked!!! This case takes my 5+ rating!!! I would have been quite happy with this (had similar ones before), but it did not quite fit my ipad. Until I saw this problem, I had not read carefully enough in product specifications to know that the ipad 2 came in slightly different models, with different code numbers and slightly different sizes. I didn't see those specs on the BB site, but found them on another internet source. Returning this project was easy, staff very courteous.

Nice looking case for amount of money spent. Case did not last one month from date of purchase. The part that holds the actual iPad starting cracking immediately and the iPad is not even used that much. Don't waste your money on this product!

This case worked well at first but after about two months the corner where the earphone hole is started cracking and soon broke apart enough that it no longer will hold the iPad air 2. I am retired and never take the iPad outside the home and have not mistreated it in any way. I took it to my local Best Buy store and they could care Less. I pointed out the defect in the product and they just said I should try another brand. I looked at the Apple case and it is much thicker in that area and I assume would not have that problem. My suggestion is to avoid both this Modal case and Best Buy who needs to work on their customer service.

I bought this case back in July when I bought my iPad. Not even a month of having the case the corners are falling off. I never once dropped the iPad or was rough in handling it. I would touch the corners and they were crumbling in my hands. Not a good case!

For 3 weeks loved this case then the top corners broke off. iPad fits very tight on upper corners and as said those corners broke off. Case should be more flexible there to prevent this. Taking back to Best Buy tomorrow and hope they will replace.

Im satisfied with the quality of this case. I love the finish on the front rubbery feel. 1 thing that is wrong with the design is that it should have 4 foldable plate rather than just three. 4 makes it perfect to use it both horizontal and vertically. with 3 its just vertical.

I don't always see this product as top of the line, however I can't say anything bad about it. It's thin yet functional. I'm glad I made the purchase.

Got it for my new iPad and it was great that it was on sale. Got it for less than $15.00 and love the color. it fits perfectly on my iPad air 2

Normal wear and tear and the plastic holding clips will break off rendering the case useless.

I've had my MODAL case just over a year. It started cracking around the edges about 5-6 months ago and now is about to fall out of the case. I found out the case had a 1 year warranty by checking the BestBuy website.. I wish I had known that sooner - I would have went back and got it replaced. It is a great case until it starts breaking apart at the edges.

I have used this for 3 months. An adult house hold and only I use the item. Never dropped but already broken, I am deciding what to do, I like the case but I question the protection it provides if it breaks on the corner without impact. It seems I am not the only one with this issue.

Great idea, but not well made. If you use your iPad daily, it will not last long. Also only provides minimal protection.

I just purchased this iPad case on 12/26 for my new iPad Air 2. After taking it out of the case once (which was very difficult) one of the corners broke off, true to other reviews about this issue. It would have been a nice case for the money but quality is poor. Am returning it and going to use my Belkin which I've had over a year and is in great shape, also happens to fit my new iPad Air.

Thought I was saving some money vs. the Apple Smart Case, but after a couple of months,the corners started breaking off. Just long enough so that I couldn't get my money back. Don't waste your money! Buy the Apple Case. (I didn't think I'd ever say those words!)
