Good protection, flimsy rubber
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm used to TPU style case where the rubber is flexible, but somewhat stiff. This case has a hard back shell (the black part) with a soft feel to it and a soft flexible rubber lining (the grey part). I wish the grey lining was a little stiffer, it flexes rather easily and the edges cannot really be used to hold the phone if it slips from your hands. The grey rubber part is grippy, meaning it does somewhat stick to surfaces, but is flexible. This makes it difficult to get in and out of my leather belt case for my phone. The back is only the black part and doesn't easily slide on flat surface, but it can. The buttons are formed well, easy to push the buttons. The bottom center face of the phone where the plug in ports are is not protected at all, as you can see in photos of it. Not sure on this since if its dropped in the right way it doesn't have protection there. I just got this and not sure I'm going to keep it, will keep looking if there are better options.

This is my second case for s7 but love it

I love the silicon cover, hard plastic piece is nice to help hold together but not necessary. It has saved my phone from 100 of drops. The raised silicon prevents almost every type of fall. I bought a second one because hard plastic cracked and wanted a clean new silicon. I would recommend taking out of case at least once a month to clean silicon. It can get pretty dirty.
