Of other sitcoms out there. Modern Family Season 5 is still good even though it is definitely its weakest season. But a great show with good values none the less

If you just want to enjoy this season of the show, don't hesitate to buy it. But, unlike previous DVD season collections of Modern Family, this release only had special features on the final disc (whereas previous seasons had generous helpings of deleted scenes and short documentaries in addition to the big gag reel on the final disc). Framerate seemed a little strange on this collection also. It was hard to pinpoint exactly what was going on with it.

Yet another season with some fun episodes and some drab episodes.

Unfortunately this season isnt available on bluray. Still a great show

So this is shot in VHS quality and somehow allowed to sell it as a DVD. This isn't Best Buy's fault, but how are the creators allowed to sell this? No problems with the first four seasons, but this one is definitely messed up. What a shame.

Had to pay extra for shipment and have received the order. Stupid TV show also, pushing political agenda.

Season five may be the year that modern family "jumped the shark". Luke and Manny both aged significantly between seasons four and five, and it seems to have changed the dynamic of the comedy interchange between Jay and Manny as well as Phil and Luke. Mitch and Cam are finally getting married, and mid season four added Jay and Gloria's baby. While still funny, the show is maturing, and seems to be moving away from the character stereotype gags that were the mainstay of the early seasons.

If you have seen the past 4 seasons you dont need to read this review! I you havent seen the past 4 seasons GO AND WATCH IT ALL! You should make it from the first Chapter!

My boyfriend says I get so into the show that is Armageddon was happening I would probably not even notice. LOL What can I say I LOVE Modern family.

This DVD collection is a great addition for the TV series. The show is funny and you will want to add this season to watch at future times.

Modern Family is one of the great comedies on TV today. A big thanks to Best Buy for offering it at a bundled discount with HIMYM season 9.
